Ceracolors Light Molding Paste can be added to Ceracolors to paint thickly and to build impastos of wax. Light Molding Paste contains ceramic microspheres and while its appearance is gray, it can be tinted with any Ceracolors paint. Ceracolors Light Molding Paste is less dense than Molding Paste, hence can be used to create light textured impastos. Besides low density, the ceramic microspheres provide a slight texture.
Pastes differ from gels in that they are opaque and may contain calcite (chalk), clay, talc, bentonite (diatomaceous earth), fibers, or other fillers resulting in a white to gray finish with a variety of textures and properties. Pastes can also be used to create textured foundations for painting.
What Ceracolors Pastes Can Do
Ceracolors Mediums offer artists unlimited control of Ceracolors water-soluble wax colors. Use mediums to control transparency, viscosity and consistency. Ceracolors Mediums can be thought of as colorless wax paints, as they are composed of the same or similar waxes as are Ceracolors paints. They are the “glue” or binder that dry to form continuous, durable films.
This section lists some typical uses of Paste Medium, but it is not intended to be exhaustive. New and different ways to successfully use these products are always being discovered.
Extend Paint: Adding Paste Medium to Ceracolors can extend paint. Extending Ceracolors with Paste Medium allows the paint to go further, while maintaining a much higher quality than “student grade” paints. Paste Medium can be added to Ceracolors in any amount desired.
Alter Consistency: Mixing Paste Medium into Ceracolors, will thicken the paint, and provide additional body. All Ceracolors mediums are compatible with the entire family of Ceracolors products.
Provides hard, opaque and matte finish. Useful for creating tough, durable finishes for smooth or textured surfaces. Can be carved with hand or any hot tools when dry.
Directions
Add to Ceracolors Paste Medium directly to paint on the palette or in a container. Paste Medium can be added in any amount desired.

There are no acute or known chronic health hazards associated with the anticipated use of this product (most chemicals are not fully tested for chronic toxicity). Always protect yourself against potentially unknown chronic hazards of this and other chemical products by keeping them out of your body. We track all orders where a tracked delivery service has been selected.
We will update your order with the tracking information if the shipping carrier provides a tracking number. You can locate the tracking number for your order in the shipping confirmation email you receive when your order is shipped. (Look for the email with the subject line "Natural Pigments: Shipment # xxxxxxxxx for Order # xxxxxxxxx.") You can also find the tracking number by signing into your account and visiting My Account Dashboard under Recent Orders.
VAT for Orders within the European Union
VAT is not included in prices unless specified on the website as VAT INCLUSIVE. VAT is calculated for Germany at 19% on both order subtotal and shipping cost and is added to the order grand total.

VAT is not included in prices and totals unless specified on the website as VAT INCLUSIVE. Duties, tariffs, and customs broker fees are not included in the prices and totals on the website. Shipping Rates
The rate charged for the shipping of your order is based on the weight of your products and your location. Before the final checkout page, you will be shown what the shipping cost will be, and you will have a chance to abandon your order if you decide not to place it.
Shipping Damage
For shipping damage, customers should file a claim with the carrier immediately. Any discrepancy, including wrong or missing items, should be reported to Natural Pigments within twenty-four (24) hours of receipt.
Back Orders
We do not accept backorders for out-of-stock items. If you order an out-of-stock item, we will email you when we expect that product to be available. You will be among the first to receive the item when it becomes available. Natural Pigments will not charge your credit card for out-of-stock items.
