Chromium Oxide Green Watercolor Paint
Chromium Oxide, also known as chromium sesquioxide or chromia, is one of four oxides of chromium. It was commonly called chrome green when used as a pigment; however it was referred to as viridian when it was first discovered.
Rublev Colours Chromium Oxide Green is an intense dark green color first used in painting in the early 19th century. The pigment has been identified on a J.M.W. Turner painting dating back to 1812. Chromium oxide is stable and is one of the most permanent pigments artists use today.
